Nagaland Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti (NRBPS) Uchchatar Vidyalaya, Kohima, Nagaland celebrated Hindi divas on September 15 at its auditorium with Zakienei Khoubve, Hindi language officer (HLO) DSE Kohima as chief guest and Dr. BP Philip, Hindi-coordinator, as the chairmen of the function.
A press note by NRBPS (HUV) Kohima secretary stated that during the programme, Zakienei said that, NRBPS had been propagating Hindi for the last 15 years. He said that every year from September 14 to 21, Hindi diwas was observed as Hindi Pakheara (Week). He also added that “we” needed to understand the importance of Hindi and work for its promotion and propagation.
After handing over prizes to the winners, competitor, participants for their performance in different programs, he also exhorted the students’ community to study and acquire knowledge and learn languages.
Dr Philip as chairman pointed out that phonetic richness and gender system in Hindi language was so much natural and for this reason, people loved to learn Hindi across the world. Vote of thanks was delivered by Om Praksh Tiwari. Function was conducted by Keshaw Mahato.
