Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland (ZBN) has expressed dismay over the slow pace of investigation on the 21 August 2017 incident at the residence of Kelei Zeliang, secretary to chief minister & rural development, Kohima.
A press note by ZBN media cell stated that different organizations from far and near had condemned the episode through local media “denouncing the act of savage committed by unscrupulous malefactor”. ZBN stated that still no arrest has been made so far, whereby ZBN is made to understand that the failure on the part of law enforcing agency to book the culprit elucidates its “inefficient and half hearted attempt”.
Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland stated that it was pained to see the “apathetic accomplishment of the department” to nab the culprit(s). ZBN also stated that it may be compelled to initiate its own action as per the customary law and cautioned that ZBN would not be held responsible for any consequences.
Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland further appealed every peace loving denizens of Nagaland to put pressure on the law enforcing agency to deliver justice at the earliest.
