The monthly Peren DPDB meetings were held in Peren on October 6 and Mokokchung on October 7 in their respective district headquarters.
PEREN: In Peren it was held at DC conference hall, wherein Vision 2030 for Peren district was deliberated. Deputy commissioner & vice chairman DPDB, Zarenthung Ezung elaborated on the exigencies to come up with the vision document from each department where he added that October 15 would be the last date for submission.
According to DIPR report another meeting has been set for October 12, 11 a.m at DC conference hall to scrutinize and review on the making of a vision document for the district. A committee was set up for the very purpose with deputy commissioner Peren as the chairman, SDO (C) Sarita Yadav as the co-ordinator and DPO Daniel Hemang as member secretary.
The board discussed the following agendas where all the heads of offices were requested to furnish detailed report to fulfill the criteria and submit to the next DPDB meeting for onward submission to the government for approval of creation of sub-treasury office Tening, full fledged range office Nsong, upgradation of sub-centre to PHC Nsong and upgradation of GMS to GHS Beisumpuikam. The board also recommended and forwarded for creation of police outpost at Nsong. Department of DEF Peren and DPO Peren presented power point of the departmental activities.
MOKOKCHUNG: The meeting was held in the ADC (Planning) conference hall, chaired by deputy commissioner & vice chairman of the DPDB Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel.
According to DIPR report, the meeting gave its approval for creation of a new EAC headquarter at Longnak and to forward its approval to the government. DC & vice chairman also sought detailed report from Agri & allied departments about the damage caused to crops in the district during the current monsoon and directed the concerned head of offices to submit the report by October 17 to 18. The meeting also gave its approval for registration of AIM Ministry.
