ICAR trains St. Xavier College students on seed production

One day training for students of St. Xavier College Jalukie was organised by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Medziphema on October 25.

In a press release, St. Xavier College (English department) president, Sister, Yhulhung Teresa, informed that the training included sessions on seed production technology of vegetable crops and hand-on training to make pineapple squash and jam. 

The resource persons were Dr. Patu K. Zeliang from ICAR, Medziphema, chief technical officer, Dr. Kenny Rhetso and assistant chief technical officer, James Kikon.
