In a delayed report, one person was killed and two others injured in a road accident near Dikhu River under Chuchuyimpang village jurisdiction, Mokokchung district Friday afternoon. According to sources, the mishap took place when the Tata Sumo heading towards Dimapur, reportedly fell into a gorge about 220 feet below the road. The driver reportedly died on the spot. The injured persons were rushed to Mokokchung district hospital.
