Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (KBBB) 63rd youth convention was held from October 19 to 22 under the theme “youth for Christ and the Church” at Mission Centre, Mon and attended by more than 2000 delegates from 114 churches.
In a press release, KBBB informed that the convention hall was dedicated by KBBB executive secretary, Rev. Chemyuh which was followed by opening ceremony by KBCM youth.
The main speakers of the youth convention were Nyamto Wangsha, the outgoing principal of KHSS Mon and Covenant Baptist Church Dimapur, Pastor Yapang Longkumar.
KBBB informed that during the convention many youths participated in different competitions like painting, essay, scripture knowledge, quartet, Bible memory recitation with action etc.
Singers like Mendan from finalist (Naga Hindi Voice), Threnon finalist (Naga Orpheus Hunt) and Langphong Hamnyei also performed during the convention.
Panel of discussion on the topic “clean election” concluded with a bike rally under the banner “I am the messenger of clean election”. The flag off service for bike rally was held on October 23 at Mon Theological College campus. The 64th KBBB youth convention would be hosted by Chi village.
