Nagaland governor, PB Acharya, has extended greetings to the Kuki community on the occasion of Kut festival and prayed that the festival bring peace, unity and prosperity to the community. In a message, Acharya described the festival as a happy occasion for the community whose stock of food is plentiful after a year of tremendous hard labour. Governor also reminded all to thank the Almighty for His unwavering love and blessing. Governor viewed that the festival should provide opportunities for budding generations and other villagers to display their skills and physical strength. Asserting that the festival should be a source for building unity, the governor called upon all to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development in the state.
