Power department sources informed that the second partially burnt 20 MVA transformer was charged on Tuesday evening. The officials said the charged transformer will only be utilising half its capacity of 10 MVA for two to three days and if no problem arises then the transformer will be utilised to its full 20 MVA capacity.
However due to deficit because of total damage to one of the 20 MVA transformers, load shedding will continue throughout Dimapur city for a few months.
