Reports on ensuing assembly elections from various districts

Deputy Commissioner (DC), Additional Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Education Officer (DEO) of different districts across the state have issued directives, notifications for the forthcoming general assembly elections scheduled on February 27.
Pughoboto: Election Commission of India appointed general observer for 13th Pughoboto AC, Joint Secretary (Energy), Gujarat, Mahesh I. Patel, arrived at Pughoboto on February 7.
According to DIPR report, ADC & DEO, Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho, RO, Tiayanger Jamir and ARO, Nuhutaon briefed the general observer on election activities and the number of voters under the 13 A/C, Pughoboto on Thursday.
Meanwhile, ADC & DEO Pughoboto has informed that for information on any candidate, political party and election officials all concern have been asked to contact at 8787431015.
Bhandari: General observer for 39th and 40thAssembly Constituencies, Rajeev Sharma, held a meeting with the RO and sector magistrates of 40 A/C Bhandari, Thursday at the office chamber of the ADC &RO, Bhandari.
According to DIPR report, the observer appraised the gathering of the bounden roles and duties of the officials besides taking a firsthand assessment of preparedness for the upcoming Assembly Elections.
Meanwhile, for any query related to election, candidates and agents in the constituency, all concern has been asked to contact 8418450911/8787386732. The general observer was accompanied by Liaison Officer, Thomas Ezung.
Tuensang: DC and DEO Tuensang, L. Jamithung had a meeting with the district administrators, Tuensang Town Council (TTC), political parties and election staff at his office chamber for fixation of rates for election expenditure.
According to DIPR report, the rates of various items are fixed as: Micro -phone/sound system –Rs. 5000/day for small gathering andRs. 8000/day for huge gathering; chair and tables- Rs. 5 and Rs. 50/day; banner –Rs. 1000 for hand written banners; tents –Rs. 1000 (small) and Rs. 1700 (big)/ day; podium Rs. 3000; printing of posters /pamphlets – as per cash memo; tea and food- Rs. 10 and Rs. 150/cup and plates; local ground –Rs. 1000/day; town hall –Rs. 2000/ day; caps and T-Shirts – as per cash memo and TV/Newspaper/ Advertisement – as per cash memo.
Longleng: DC & DEO Longleng, John Tsulise Sangtam, has informed all candidate and political parties that the Election Commission of India has appointed the observers for 49 A/C Tamlu and 50 A/C Longleng for the forthcoming Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
According to DIPR report, DC & DEO has informed any candidate and political party wanting to the meet the observers for clarification relating to conduct of general election to contact the observer at their mobile phones or meet them personally from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DC & DEO office or SP Office.

Mokokchung: DC & DEO, Mokokchung Sachin Jaiswal, has informed the public that Election Commission of India has appointed three general observers for Mokokchung district to monitor the entire election process in the district. The three general observers are:  Richard Vincent D’ Souza, Mohammad Javed Khan and J.M Pathania.
According to DIPR report, the DC & DEO has informed that Richard Vincent D’Souza will monitor election process in 23, 25, 26 and 27 assembly constituencies while Moammad Javed Khan will look after 21, 22 and 24 assembly segments. J.M Pathania will supervise and monitor 28, 29 and 30 Assembly Constituencies.
For any query about election matters, DC & DEO has informed public to meet the general observers on any day between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Commissioner Rest House, Mokokchung.
Kohima: DC & DEO Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed that in connection with the ensuing General Election to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election 2018, two general observers have arrived for the district of Kohima.
According to DIPR report, the DC & DEO has informed that general observer, Madhukar Agneya would monitor 8 Western Angami A/C; 14th Southern Angami I A/C and 15th Southern Angami II A/C and this contact numbers are 8787376732 and 9402053792.
General Observer, Amit Kataria would monitor 9 Kohima Town A/C; 10 Northern Angami-I A/C; 11 Northern Angami-II A/C and 12 Tseminyu A/C and his contact numbers 7005928984 and 9402053787.
DC & DEO has informed political parties, candidates and general public that the general observer can be contacted for any election related matters between 11 a.m. to 12 noon on any working day at the Circuit House, New Cathedral, Kohima.
