ANSTA directs units to check proxy teachers

Aiming to eradicate the practice of proxy teachers, the All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) Wednesday directed all its units and sub-units to remain watchful of such practices under respective jurisdiction and immediately bring to association’s notice.

In a press release, All Nagaland School Teachers Association president, Ponchulo Wanth, and general secretary, Visato Koso, also informed the units to bring along relevant facts and figures so the same would be placed before the appropriate authority for necessary action.

Besides tarnishing the image of the association, ANTSA said the menace of proxy teachers was plaguing the department in many ways.

Further, ANSTA warned its members to “desist from such evil practice” and join the mainstream teaching profession and work for the uplift of downtrodden children of the State. 

All Nagaland School Teachers Association also reaffirmed its earlier resolution to check the practice of proxy teachers by its members.
