India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS) under the aegis of Libra Consultancy, its education wing, Notun Bosti, Dimapur, visited universities, medical and technology colleges and other professional course institutes in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab. The visits also included Delhi Public School in Delhi and NCR.
This was to mark the 10th annual inspection of colleges from April 1 to 12 for the welfare and benefit of tribal students. The society has inspected a total of 361 universities, colleges and schools in India till date.
These colleges have provided a few seats in the medical, engineering, schools and other professional courses and reserved seats for tribal students with both high and low percentages also. Some of these universities and colleges contribute staff salaries, advertisement expenses and Swami Vivekananda College, Punjab has donated a Lenovo computer set with a laser printer towards the society’s office for the benefit of tribal students.
