Sub Divisional Agricultural Office (SDAO) Pughoboto organized a Farmer’s Field School under Integrated Pest Management (IPM) 2017-2018 in Pughoboto on June 26.
A DIPR report stated that in his keynote address, SDAO Myanthung Patton emphasized on rodent management and distributed IPM kits to all the 31 farmers present. In the technical session agriculture inspector, ViketunoChusi spoke about management of rice leaf folder insect and also about use of locally available techniques. AO, Watilo imparted training on the management of yellow stem borer insect in rice fields.
