The Langzanger Union Kiphire Town organized a Father’s Seminar on the theme “Fatherhood” with Dr. Rev. Apise, secretary, United Sangtam Baptist Lithroti Ashimukhong (USBLA) as the resource person at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall Kiphire today.
Extending his appreciation to Langzanger village for successfully conducting “Clean Elections” during the last General Assembly election Nagaland 2018, he called Langzanger a role model village for Kiphire district.
Speaking to the fathers, he said that the central theme of a family is to know God.
Saying that fathers were the main foundation of the family, the resource person said that they were also the main pillars with five responsibilities given to them — Source, Sustainer, Supporter, Nourisher and Foundation. He maintained that prayer is the link to God for all generations. Pointing out that many fathers do not go to church, he asked the Langzanger Union to regularly attend church. Dr. Apise said that blessings rather than curses should go to children. He further appealed to the participants to be aware of the responsibilities of a father and bring up their children in God’s way of life.
The seminar was held in two sessions. The chairman of Langzanger Union Kiphire Town, Lithsase Thonger on behalf of the union expressed his appreciation to the resource person for making time for the union.
