PWD Field Workers Association Dimapur Unit (PWDFWADU) has demanded for three months pay without leave for the year 2003 for those employees who had rendered their service but could not avail the same as they have expired.

In a press release issued by its president, Khekuto Sema said that the unit after thought discussion with All Nagaland PWD work charged association ascertained that the verification drive carried out by the latter was to issue identity card to employees those who are in service for the purpose of three months pay without leave for the year 2003.

PWD Field Workers Association Dimapur Unit however said that it was “regrettable” as the expired employees and “availed VRS” would not be able to attend the verification drive and ultimately would be deprived of the three months pay without leave benefit even though they have rendered their services during that period.

Further, PWD Field Workers Association Dimapur Unit has demanded to release the three months pay without leave to the family members of the deceased employees and also to the employees those who availed VRS in the year 2006.
