A launching program for the Biometric Attendance System (BAS) was held on July 13, at DC conference hall Zunheboto. The program also doubled up as a department meeting.
According to DIPR, the inaugural remark was given by SDO(C) Zunheboto Temjennaro where she said that the system was a government mandated program. She told the staff that being employees of the administration department, they should be the first to set an example for others to follow.
DC Zunheboto Shanavas C, deliberated on the importance of being a responsible government servant by maintaining basic government servant manners and duties to serve the people. Usage of the machine was demonstrated by SDO(C) Zunheboto, Namang Chang.
Administrative officers of Zunheboto and staff of Zunheboto district administration attended the launching program.
