ENPO dismayed by advisor’s letter

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) has expressed dismay over the letter, purportedly by advisor Animal Husbandary &Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, R. Khing, seeking transfer of a government official from ADC office Tseminyu to ENPO area.
In a press note, ENPO media cell said that the organization representing six tribes– Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Sangtam and Yimchunger were constrained to state that if any government servant was found guilty, he/she should be dealt as per the law but not indulge in cheap theatrics of transferring government employees to ENPO area as ‘punishment’.
ENPO said that such action has exposed the practices and mindset of the state political leaders irrespective of any party, that ENPO area was a dumping ground for political opponents.
