The University Grants Commission (UGC) issued a notification by its Secretary, Prof. Rajnish Jain vide D.O. No. 9-27/ 2018 ( CPP- II) dated July 19, 2018 that the Central Information Commission (CIC) notice Order No CIC/ BANHU/ A/ 2017/ 110128- BJ dated 28.03.2018 has advised Ministry of Human Resource Development to instruct the Vice Chancellors/Registrars of all the universities to suo-moto bring out the guidelines for revaluation of the answer sheets detailing the procedure prescribed thereunder for the benefit of the larger students community impacted by such decisions and in larger public interest involved in the matter.
UGC has advised to initiate appropriate necessary action to their universities and also give suitable direction to all the colleges affiliated and ensure compliance to the CIC order as stated above. (DIPR)
