A team of officers from district administration, police, food & civil supplies (F&CS) department, legal metrology, IOC officials and DBs inspected the fuel stations in Dimapur town and Chumukedima on Thursday.
According to an official bulletin, the main objective of the inspection was to check fuel adulteration, density, quality, quantity, facilities for consumer such as clean toilets, drinking water and free air refilling etc. Inspection was done on fuel quality, density and temperature and filter paper test.
During the inspection, SDO(c) Dimapur Zubenthung Ngullie directed the petrol pump proprietors without drinking water facilities outside the petrol pump to install drinking water within a month’s time. He also directed proprietors to improve quality of the toilets.
