IDEAL (IW) Charitable Society, Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH) celebrated its 7th foundation day at the Home premises in Perizie colony, Kohima on March 17.

A release from BMSCH stated that Kohima Deputy Commissioner, Anoop Kinchi, graced the occasion. In his speech, he congratulated the Home for completing seven years successfully. He suggested that the children should not focus only on studies but also be trained in different vocations so that they can become self-dependent when they grow up. He also encouraged the children to do well in their studies and told them to consider themselves lucky that they were in the hands of wonderful instructors.

IDEAL (IW) Charitable Society founder director, Abi Angami, gave a talk on the history and day to day running of the Home.

Perizie Colony chairman, Akhie Liezietsu, in a short speech, encouraged the children to do well in their academics.

The function was chaired by BMSCH superintendent Aleno; a vote of thanks was proposed by BMSCH PO, Watisenla; special songs were presented by the children of the home, Keniesenuo Sorhie and Tree of Life, FAG Church. In commemoration of its 7th foundation day, Anoop Kinchi also laid a foundation stone and Rev. Dr. T. R Angami, senior pastor of First Assembly of God Church Kohima, invoked God’s blessings.
