Meluri gets weekly bazaar

Meluri Area Public Organisation (MAPO) started a first of its kind weekly bazaar at Meluri local ground from March 27 in Meluri.

A press release from student body Müluori Küchienyiri Kügharü (MKK) president, Rhokuotho urged the Pochury people to encourage local vendors sell their vegetables, food grains and handicrafts. 

The MKK said that it will not only boost the local people’s economy but also help villagers of remote areas to sell their commodities to sustain their livelihoods.   

The weekly bazaar will sit every Wednesday where local vendors can come and sell their goods.
