Disappointed by power department’s failure to address its grievances of excess electric billing (inflated), Changsao Thangjam Setshang (CTS), Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS), Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) and All Ward Union, Tuensang Town (AWUTT) Wednesday announced to launch first phase agitation on July 26, 2019 starting 9am at Loyem Memorial Ground, Tuensang town.
In a press release, CTS president Naongchemten lamented that several representations have been submitted to the department, but there was no positive response from the department so far. CTS president said that citizens of Tuensang have been facing problem for a very long time. Therefore, he said that the first phase agitation spearheaded by CTS along with CKS, CCSU and AWUTT has announced and called upon the general public to cooperate.
