
Centre for professional development of Teacher Educators, School of Education, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, in collaboration with Sazolie College of Teacher Education Jotsoma (SCTEJ), hosted a two-day workshop on August 26 and 27, under the theme, “Innovative pedagogy and effective teaching strategies” (IP&ETS).
A press release from asst. professor, SCTEJ, Wapang, stated that professor and HoD, Education, NU, Rakesh Rai, shared two papers on “core teaching skills” and “teaching methods and teaching strategies”. DACE, NEHU, Shillong, Dr. B. P Sahu, spoke about the “core value of teachers”. Principal, SCTEJ, Dr. Gomesh Mosahary, delivered paper presentation on “teaching methods and teaching strategies”. On the second day, professor, Lungsang Zeliang, presented paper on “social and communication skills of teachers”, while retired professor, Kalyani University, Dr. Ratneswar Bhattacharjee spoke about “6 practical steps of teaching” and “Development of mind: Teacher’s mission”. DACE, NEHU, Shillong Dr B. P. Sah, gave an insightful approach on “Synopsis writing”, while research scholar DACE, NEHU, L. Kharlukhi, presented on “Theories of learning”.
