
Nagaland Science Centre (NSC), Dimapur organized the first Innovative Idea Contest (seminar-cum- interaction with local innovator) to develop scientific temper in students and to address local issues. Senior curator, NSC, Rikhio highlighted the importance of ideas and local innovations.
Resource person, Er. Kapil Thapa, principal Kudatech Skill Centre spoke on the theme “think global, act local- innovation in Nagaland”.
Local innovator, Er. I. Victor Chang demonstrated and presented some of his creative innovations and interacted with the participating students.
Students from different schools took part in the contest, where they presented their innovative ideas.
In the contest, Tsuinsajung (carpentry student) of Kudatech Skill Centre won the best idea award.
Shubham Kumar Singh (Class-8, Little Star Higher Secondary School) and Tingzing Konyak(Class-11, Holy Cross Higher Secondary School) finished as runners up. The winners walked away with citations and cash prizes and free registrations in the “innovation hub.”
