Dimapur Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (DENSU) conducted social work-cleanliness drive between Finger Print Junction and Metro Hospital, Dimapur on October 2. A press release from DENSU stated that the officials also interacted with the shopkeepers and informed that the sole reason for obstructing drainage is due to disposal of solid wastes into the drains like polythene, plastic and empty bottles/packets.
DENSU therefore requested the shopkeepers on the stretch to maintain dustbins outside the shop and insisted customers to utilize the same.
DENSU urges all the concern citizens to voluntarily and actively participate in keeping the surroundings clean and healthy.
