Father’s camp conducted at Zhavame town

Zhavame Baptist town dwellers conducted a father’s camp from October 4 to 7, under the theme “A Godly father” sponsored by the Zhavame Baptist Church (ZBC).

A press release from ZBC stated that, the camp was held at Zion Prayer Centre, Sechü, Zubza. Speakers for the camp included Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, senior pastor, Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima, Rev. Dr. Ciekroveyi Cho-o, associate professor, Oriental Theological Seminary, Bade, Dimapur, and Rev. Akha Shupao, pastor, Zhavame Baptist Church. They spoke on various topics such as “A Father is an image of God”, “Family Economy and Management”, “Father’s role in the family”, “A Godly Father”, “Effective Parenting” and “A Changed Father”. Bible study was led by Rakodu Nukhu, church secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Ministers’ Hill, Kohima. This was the first camp held for the town dwellers and a total of 95 fathers from Phek, Pfütsero, Dimapur, and Kohima took part.
