State govt clarifies on ‘Janta Curfew’

State government has clarified that the proposed “Janta Curfew” on March 22, 2020 called by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was voluntary and self-imposed and was not being enforced by the state government. According to an official bulletin, the state government has appealed to all the citizens to show solidarity towards the call made by the prime minister and to voluntarily stay indoors during the period from 7am to 9 pm on March 22, 2020.
