Organisations condemn August 6 incident

Kuozhüzou Kewhimiapfu Krotho (KKK) and Leirie Chazou Women Organisation (LCWO) have condemned the barbaric act committed by a father on his underage daughter at Kohima on August 6. 

KKK: Kuozhüzou Kewhimiapfu Krotho (KKK) in a condemnation by president, Tsenuo Suoho and secretary Satuonuo stated that there was no place for such heinous and inhumane behaviour in a civilised society. It urged law enforcing agencies to award befitting and exemplary punishment on the perpetrator and that under no circumstances the accused should be granted bail.  KKK prayed that the Almighty grant comfort and strength to the family at this moment of difficult time.

LCWO: Leirie Chazou Women Organisation (LCWO) in a condemnation stated that the heinous crime of such nature would not be tolerated at any cost. LCWO also further appealed to the concern authority to serve the guilty with fitted punishment at the earliest.
