Nagaland COVID-19 tally rose to 8894 after 70 new positive cases were detected on Thursday– 46 in Dimapur, 19 in Kohima, 3 in Mon, 1 each in Longleng and Zunheboto.
Out of 8894 positive cases, distribution across various categories of people include 3867 cases from armed forces/police, 1648 returnees, 2946 traced contacts and 433 frontline workers.
India’s virus tally breaches 80L mark
PTI: India’s COVID-19 caseload surpassed the 80-lakh mark Thursday, with 49,881 new cases, Health Ministry data stated.
The total coronavirus cases mounted to 80,40,203 and the death toll climbed to 1,20,527 with the novel coronavirus claiming 517 lives in a span of 24 hours in the country.
