State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Medziphema organised a two-day online training programme for agri and allied and ATMA field functionaries on “package of practices for spices and plantation crops” on November 9 and 10.
A press release by SAMETI Medziphema stated that, resource persons for the training were horticulture specialist Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema A.K Singh and officer incharge, Regional Coffee Research Station, Diphu, Assam, Bijaya Barman. Topics on scientific technology of production & propagation of coconut; scientific technology of production & propagation of black pepper and package of practices on coffee in NEHR-I were covered. Participants from all districts of the state attended the programme.
Feedback was received from all the participant and e-certificates was forwarded to the participants.
