Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Peren, Jalukie block conducted demonstration at three farm schools located at Jalukie from February 10 to 12.
HI &BTT convenor Jalukie block Ibotui, gave demonstration on fish-cum- poultry-cum-pig intergrated farming for more income, where he demonstrated how to rear fish in combination with pigs and poultry. Resource person, assistant professor college of veterinary science and animal husbandary, Peren Dr. Laltlankimi, gave a demonstration on general measurements for prevention of poultry diseases wherein she explained various prevailing poultry diseases, its prevention and remedies.
Whereas assistant professor college of veterinary science and animal husbandary, Peren Dr. Lalsangpuii, gave a demonstration on vaccination of poultry.
ATM Jalukie block Sajapong, and ATM Jalukie block Vimetseino Zao, conducted demonstration on Bordeaux mixture for management of leaf spot disease in banana and use of pheremone insect traps respectively.
Altogether, 47 farmers attended the demonstration program.
