
Nagaland on Saturday reported only one COVID-19 positive case in Kohima taking the total caseload to 12211.
As on March 6, the active cases in state stood at 15 while a total of 11952 patients have recovered from the infection till date.
Meanwhile, State Health department Saturday informed that a total of 42,628 doses of the Covishield Vaccine have been administered across the state till date.
State Immunization Officer (UIP) Dr. Ritu Thurr said that 826 senior citizens 60 years and above and 98 beneficiaries with specified comorbidities between 45-59 years have successfully received the COVID-19 vaccine without any adverse events needing medical interventions. Dr. Thurr informed that second dose administration of frontline workers began in Peren on Saturday.
