Vitoka Assumi bagged the “Mr Sumi 2021” title, organized by Ecstatic Entertainment at IMC Hall, Dimapur on December 16, 2021 while T Nipuka Swu and Mughaka Zhimo were declared first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.
The male pageant contest held on the theme “I am coming for everything I deserve” was graced by Western Sumi Students Union (WSSU) president Kughato Achumi as chief guest and proprietor of Bilala Entrepreneurs Kamal Jain as guest of honour.
Speaking at the programme, WSSU president Kughato Achumi encouraged the participants to be serious in whatever they do. He also urged them to consistent and hardworking if they were truly passionate about modelling and bring laurels to the society. He advised the contestants to be humble as one soared higher in life.
In a brief message, guest of honour Kamal Jain acknowledged the organizers for organizing the event and also wished good luck to all participants.
Earlier, the event was hosted by Avika Achumi and Tolicy Wotsa, and invocation was offered by NCRC Sumi mission director Dr. Nitoshe Neikha.
Special presentations were also presented by Psycho K4, Kito Tuccu and Rebels Crew.
The pageant was judged by Dr. Hesheto Chishi, Ani Yepthomi and Anashi Sumi.
