Physical assault on minor condemned

Khensa Village Council (KVC), Khensa Sensotsür Mungdang (KSM) and Khensa Students’ Union (KSU) have condemned the physical assault on a minor from Chang community. In a joint condemnation note, KVC chairman, Imtitoshi, KSM president, Imtisangla and KSU president, Temsuakum said the act of the perpetrator has brought disgrace to the whole village community.
The signatories further stated that the Khensa village customary court summoned the accused on May 7 and awarded “due punishment” and warned against more stringent action if the same heinous act was committed.
