DCPU organises awareness on ‘child marriage act’

District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Dimapur organised a two-day awareness programme at Chungaizeang Council Hall and Nagagaon Council Hall Dimapur on May 5 and 6. The resource person of the programme, was legal-cum-probation officer DCPU Dimapur, Moajungla.
She spoke on “The prohibition of Child marriage Act 2006”. A poster campaign on “Prevention of child marriage” was also carried out. The programme was chaired by PO(IC), Esther Sumi and vote of thanks by DCPO, Avika Zhimomi and PO (NIC) DCPU Dimapur, Arenla Phom.
