Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall Kiphire on January 5 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice-Chairman, DPDB Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam.
At the meeting, DC informed that attendance will be strictly followed and requested all the members to be present in all the meetings.
He also asked the members to contribute their plans and ideas, and also to be diligent in their assigned duties.
He further appealed to the Heads of Offices to be in the station for the smooth functioning of their respective offices and also for the benefit of the public.
The House discussed on the proposal for construction of Panchayat Hall under the PM Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) scheme under the department of Minority Affairs while a PowerPoint presentation was presented by the Department of KVK, Kiphire.
The meeting also discussed the forthcoming Republic Day celebration and work distribution were allotted to the line departments.
A book titled, “Technology Assessment through on Farm Trials for Kiphire District” written by Dr. N.Khumdemo Ezung, was released by Deputy Commissioner, John Tsulise Sangtam at the meeting.
