Power department has informed all consumers under 11kV Airport, Purana Bazaar and Veterinary feeders that there would be a scheduled shutdown of power supply.
In this regard, SDO (Elec. II) Er. Chubatemsu Ao said that the following areas would be affected– Burma Camp, Purana Bazaar, parts of Walford, Naharbari, Darogajan, Padumpukhuri, Darogapathar and its adjoining areas on May 16, 18, 19 and 20 from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m.
This is being done for construction of 11kV trunk line, to strengthen the 11kV feeders along main roads in Dimapur town, the official said. All those in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
