DH Phek gets attendants guest house

Principal director of Health & Family Welfare Kohima (H& FW), Dr. Ritu Thurr inaugurated the guest house for patients’ attendants at District Hospital Phek on February 21 after a dedicatory prayer by Rev. Kevengoi Sakha. The guest house consists of four rooms, one dormitory and one kitchen was constructed under the initiative of Hospital Welfare Committee (HWC).

HWC appreciated Lozaphuhu Baptist Church for donating Rs.6 lakhs along with a truck load of bamboo which was utilised in the construction. Dr. Thurr in his speech appreciated and congratulated the DH for their team work in the successful construction of the guest house which will benefit the general public.

He encouraged the service provider to continue the good team work and encouraged the Health Care Worker to be sincere and remain in their posting place. A short speech was delivered by Chief medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Avile Zao highlighting a brief note on the construction of the guest house.

Welcome address was delivered by DH medical superintendent Dr. T Ezung and invocation by CRCP pastor Kevichosa Koza.
A short construction committee report was given by Dr. Shevosa Vese while the program was chaired by DH senior specialist Dr. Ngopelo Keviechu.
