Team selection for Nagaland begins for NE Games

Men & women Sepaktakraw team announced
The Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association has informed that the final selection for Nagaland Sepaktakraw team (both men and women) to represent the state in the upcoming 3rd North East Games 2024 will be held at Niathu Resort, Chumoukedima from March 19 to 23, 2024 at Govt. Hr. Sec. School ground on March 15, 2024.

State volleyball team

After a gap of almost 10 years, Nagaland is set to take part in volleyball event at the 3rd Northeast Games scheduled to be held from March 18 to 23 at Sovima, Chumoukedima.


In this connection, after rigorous coaching, 12 players under Nagaland Volleyball Association have been selected to represent the state team at the event. Nagaland has been placed in Pool A along with Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. Pool B consists of Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura and Mizoram. Nagaland will play their first match against Arunachal Pradesh in March 19.

State team will be led by Tseibou as team manager, Yanbemo Humtsoe as coach and Sentiyangpa as assistant coach. The selected players are: Reshitemjen Longkumer, Tongpang Sunep, Bendang Temsu, Satemmeren M Longkumer, Kukhalu Nyekha, Phyobemo Jami, Pitovi Sheqi, Imnungkumba, Imlichuba, Imna Akum, Inkiengcube and Watinukem.
