Kuki Christian Church, Medziphema Town (KCCM) platinum jubilee celebration service was held on March 12, marking the culmination of a series of ceremonial events under the theme, “Conqueror through Christ,” (Romans 8:37).
A press release by KCCM informed that Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod (KCCNS) executive secretary, Rev. Seimang Haokip, unveiled and dedicated the jubilee monolith and KCCNS Pastorate Pastor Rev. Seikholen Chongloi, delivered a sermon reverberating on the theme’s profound significance.
The ceremonial release of the souvenir was presided over by additional deputy commissioner, Medziphema, P. James Swu, while convener of the jubilee committee, Alet Hangsing, delivered a comprehensive overview of the church’s illustrious history.
Speeches were also delivered by the head of GB of Medziphema Village, the president of the Pastors’ Fellowship Medziphema Town, and Sehmang Singson, the great-grandson of Lt. Dilang Singson.
The service commenced with a solemn blessing by Rev. Paolal Thangeo, the moderator, KCCNS, a vote of thanks was delivered by chairman platinum jubilee committee, Thangminlen Singsit, and Paolenmang Haokip oversaw the formal proceedings.
The festivities continued with the jubilee night session, exhibiting a diverse array of performances including songs, choreography, and other captivating presentations. The KCCM platinum jubilee celebration concluded with a prayer led by Upa Doulen Lenthang.
