Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) vehemently condemned the March 22 stabbing incident, wherein a girl named Deepali was stabbed multiple times by Abdul Mujid, as reported, in broad daylight inside a shop at NL road, Dimapur.
In a press release by DDCF media cell, the forum appealed the concerned authorities to thoroughly investigate the case and book the culprit as per the law of the land and instill the fact that the law prevails and no criminal can go scot-free after committing any crime in the city, there should be no bail and stringent punishment must be awarded to the culprit. The Forum also urged the citizens to be more vigilant about the surroundings and has asked the business owners to make sure that CCTVs are up and running and to report any suspicious activity to the concerned authorities.
