Along with the rest of the nation, the 2nd Quarterly National Lok Adalat (People’s Courts) for 2024 will be observed in all the district headquarters under the aegis of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) on May 11.
In a press release, Victo Sema, NJS Member Secretary, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority informed that during the occasion, 11 Lok Adalat Benches by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSAs) will be set-up. Victo also informed that during the 1st quarterly National Lok Adalat held on March 9, 2024, 178 cases/disputes were disposed with a total settlement amount of Rs. 34,15,81,243/- (Four crore fifteen lakh eithy on thousand two hundred forty three) only.
