Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) and Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) have clarified that no “declaration to support” the GPRN/NSCN was made during a meeting with the latter on Tuesday.
Both the CNTC and CNSA also clarified that they were invited to the meeting by the GPRN/NSCN led by its president MB Neokpao Konyak and ato kilonser Alezo Venuh, CNSA president R Sunep Pongen said in a press note.
Further, they said that it was a consultative meeting where the current situation was discussed, and everyone was encouraged to work united amongst all the political groups and to come together for an early solution to the ongoing political talks
As social organizations, CNTC and CNSA said that they did not endorse or support any particular group, but rather lent its moral support to all the groups for the betterment of Nagaland.
