Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur celebrated its annual graduation day cum alumni meet on July 17. On the occasion, Principal Fr. Dr. Paul Punii acknowledged the new graduates, faculty, and attendees, praising the achievements of the outgoing students. He awarded Rs. 5000 to Ankita Lakra, top student in Philosophy, and honored Alphina Peidah Ng for Best Library User in Political Science.
Special guest, Joint CEO of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Johnny Ruangmei, and a college alumni, stressed on the importance of using knowledge and past experiences to tackle life’s challenges. He urged the students to embrace technology and lifelong learning for global competitiveness.
The event featured a speech by UG topper in Philosophy Ankita Lakra, a song by fifth-semesters, presentation of medals and mark sheets to graduates by department heads and concluded with closing remarks from HoD, Political Science Department, Yanvungthung Kikon.
