Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio along with his cabinet colleagues on Thursday called on Union Home minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
In a post on X (formerly Tiwtter), Rio said “Called on the Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri @AmitShah Ji, along with my Cabinet colleagues. We discussed about Naga political issue, Eastern Nagaland political issue, issues relating to Nagaland-Assam border, & important dev. projects in the State.”
Rio was accompanied by deputy CMs—TR Zeliang and Y Patton, and ministers—CL John, Temjen Imna Along, Metsubo Jamir, Salhoutuonuo Kruse. The Cabinet, during its meeting held on November 16, stressed on the need to impress upon Central leaders the urgency of expediting a resolution to the Naga issue.
