Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) will be organizing the 4th edition of “Nagaland 10K The Great Hornbill Run” on December 9 at Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence (RCSE) Sovima, Chumoukedima.
The event is an initiative of Nagaland Athletics Association under the aegis of Nagaland Olympic Association, Athletics Federation of India and Department of Tourism Government of Nagaland and sponsored by Bank of Baroda. The list of events are senior men (10 km), senior women (10 km), U-20 boys (10 km), U-20 girls (10 km), U-18 boys (8 km), U-18 girls (8 km).
Prizes for the senior will be 1st Rs. 30,000/-, 2nd Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 8,000/-, Rs. 6,000/-, Rs. 4,000/-, Rs. 2,000/-, while the winners for U-20 and U-18 will be Rs. 20,000 for first, 2nd Rs. 10,000/-, 3rd Rs. 7,000/-, 4th Rs. 5,000/-, 5th Rs. 3,000/-, 6th Rs. 2,000/-, and 7th Rs. 1,000/-.
The last date of registration will be December 5. Only Aadhar will be accepted as valid document for verification of age for citizens of India and Passport for tourist.
Age Bracket for U-18 Boys & Girls – must be born on/after – 10/12/2006, while for U-20 Boys & Girls -born on/after – 10/12/2006 born between – 09/12/2006 – 10/12/2004.
For registration, interested participants can scan the given QR code and fill in the necessary details. Registration fees will be Rs. 500/- for senior men & women and Rs. 300/- for U-20 and U-18 Boys and Girls.
