Newman Higher Secondary School conducts annual sports & games 2025

The annual sports and games meet of Newman Higher Secondary School (NHSS), Tobu, commenced with great enthusiasm on March 27 at school ground. The event was graced by additional deputy commissioner, Tobu Shaying Sheu as the special guest.

In his speech, Sheu emphasized the significance of maintaining physical fitness and encouraged students to explore sports as a viable career option. He also motivated both students and teachers to strive for academic excellence.

The three-day event will witness enthusiastic participation from students representing the four school houses, competing for the coveted overall championship title.

Competitions include football, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, kho-kho and various individual track and field events with over a hundred students showcasing their athletic prowess.
