Chief Minister’s Mobile Operation Theatre (CM-MOT) team conducted surgical health camp at Primary Health Centre (PHC) of Panso led by Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso.
The team consisted of specialty doctors which included Dr Keneilhoulie Medom anesthesiologist, Dr. Moa Temjen and Dr. Rovino Kera general surgeon and Dr. Lanu Mollier dentist. Over 450 patients were examined by the team.
MLA of the area, Benei M Lamthiu, who was present at the health camp, interacted with patients. Acknowledging chief minister Neiphiu Rio for initiating the program for rural areas, the people of the area, appealed to the chief minister and the medical department to employ a medical officer at the Panso PHC.
The also requested for deployment of medical doctor and basic amenities to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) of Panso village.
They further appealed to the government to consider their request and provide the necessary support to strengthen the PHC, which would not only enhance the quality of life for the villagers but align with the government’s initiatives to improve healthcare services in rural areas.
