Troops of 29 Assam Rifles, based on specific information, launched an operation in general area Super market and apprehended one arms dealer June 5.
According to PRO, Assam Rifles, the person identified as Thangpong, (25) resident of Lengnyu, Tuensang district was apprehended along with one 7.65 mm Pistol with magazine and one .22 Pistol with magazine. The accused was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur.
