Naga Council, Dimapur (NCD) Thursday endorsed the poll guidelines issued by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and has requested all to abide by the same for change in society.
In a statement, NCD acting president T. Bangerloba also requested all residents of Dimapur to promote peace and harmony during the ensuing assembly polls.
The council said that for the establishment of a new refined order, it was important to conduct free and fair election. Stating that democracy did not mean just a form of government, NCD said it was a way of life, order of society, a way of socio-economic relations and a belief system.
NDC also said that the present generation should be aware of the responsibility and participate in the system and contribute in the task of making corrections.
