Eastern Theological College (ETC), Jorhat has expressed deep concerned over the killings of innocent people and burning down of villages in the on-going Assam-Nagaland disputes. In a statement, ETC principal expressed solidarity with the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones and empathize with the sufferings of those who have lost their houses and properties. ETC urged both the governments to resolve the border issue and provide immediate relief and compensation to those affected. ETC also appealed “goodness in the hearts of all people to be compassionate and work together to bring peace and harmony”.
